Commercial Area Manager

Our company is a leader in its sector of innovative hightech coatings (amongst others with the Sudlac brand) which optimize the climate of greenhouses. After more than 60 years of experience, the company can be classified as market leader in the home country of France. Coming years we will further enhance this growth into other, less deployed countries for which reason we are looking for a entrepreneurial commercial area manager.

Attached to the Group Management, you manage local marketing and communication activities and you manage your sales team spread over your area (France, Spain, Italy, Greece and surrounding countries of the Mediterranean See). You will be the driver for the ambitious growth plan we have to double our sales in the coming few years with new customers in this area and will get a lot of freedom to be able to achieve this goal.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Daily management of commercial area team (currently 3 FTE, will grow rapidly coming years).
  • Organization and management of all commercial/marketing actions targeting specifically the area of responsibility.
  • Responsible for current and new customers, following the targets of the long-term commercial plan (5y) in the relevant area (enable sales to double in 2025 compared with last year).
  • Scout of possible targets for acquisitions, joint-venture or cooperation with 3rd parties.
  • Customer support and satisfaction (Net Promotor Score).
  • Manage the location together with the Plant manager, together acting as Local Leadership Team and responsible and accountable locally for the P&L.
  • Previous experience with distributors, contractors, wholesalers and/or end-users are preferably.
  • Experience with CRM systems like “Salesforce” is a must.
  • In addition it is very important that the right candidate speaks at a high level of English and, connected to the job, is willing to travel as much as needed to realize our sales ambition around the Mediterranean See.
