The shading compounds from Sudlac can be applied and removed in various easy and responsible ways. In general, applications only take place during dry weather circumstances and when no percipitation is expected during the drying process.
Manual applicationOur products are manually applied worldwide with great results. Most of the available spray equipment used at greenhouse operations will be suitable for such applications. Make sure that the capacity of the spray equipment is suited for the surface to be applied.
Machine applicationOur coatings are more and more often applied by machine. Machine applications usually give better results and are more economical in use due to lower use of product. Ask your equipment provider for specific instructions.
Aerial applicationHelicopter or airplane applications require very specific expertise. If desired, you can contact us for technical advice.
Mix the coating with the desired amount of clean water prior to applying it to the greenhouse surface with the appropriate spray equipment. the coating is very wear resistant and can be removed at any time with the use of Topclear.
First fill the mixing container with half the amount of needed water. Add the coating and start mixing. Add more water to get the total amount of needed mixture. Mix with sufficient force until it has formed into a homogeneous mixture. Scrape the bottom of the container to check that there is no residue. Now the mixture is ready to use. Only apply the coating in fast drying circumstances to ensure the coating is fully dried before dusk. Rainfall the same day of application can damage the coating. the coating should only be applied at temperatures above 10°C (50°F).
Unopened container of the coating can be stored for 2 years. Stir before use if product is older than 1 year. Protect from freezing.
Our coating is a waterbased product that contains no environmental harmful ingredients. Prevent discharge onto surface water as discoloration can occur. Sudlac is involved in Responsible Care®.
